HOW WE HIRE

Easy, Short, Transparent, Not a rocket science!
1. Kicking It Off


See an open role that sounds perfect for you? Then, read through the job description and apply by submitting your resume online. Cover letters are optional, but some positions may require supplementary information, so carefully read the job description (especially the last few sentences that would typically include additional instructions to apply).
2. First Chat


A member of our Talent team will book a brief introductory call with you, either over Zoom or a brief phone call. These first chats are usually 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the type of role you applied to. Our Talent team uses these calls to kick off with an awesome first impression! We want you to walk away from the call with a better understanding of what Outgive does, what our culture is like, and what the day-to-day role entails. In addition, we'll inform you of other important details such as working location, salary, team size, possible career paths, and the next steps of the interview process.
3. Next Steps


After this first chat, the Talent team member you spoke with will pass on your resume, interview notes, and supplementary documents or recordings to the hiring team. Depending on the role, the next step would be a Zoom call with a hiring team member (typically the person who would be your direct team leader). This meeting will dive deeper into the role and is typically 30 to 60 minutes in length. There may be a third interview with a senior executive or our Founder for higher-level or executive positions.
4. Decision Time


The hiring team will discuss all candidates in the pipeline at this time before making any decisions. It is the hardest part of the hiring process and will typically take about a week to carefully select the right candidate for the role. Should an offer be presented to you, a member of our Talent team will either email or call you to walk you through the job offer details.
